As a Student Carpenter at the Purdue Scene Shop, I gain hands-on experience constructing and preparing scenery and scenic elements for theatrical productions and events. I work with a variety of materials, tools, and construction techniques while learning how to safely and efficiently build scenery in a professional-style shop environment.
